Top together.eu change-maker story:
CROATIA – Nino

Being a European citizen is a responsibility. I consider the European identity part of my overall identity, so I feel the need and the responsibility to nurture it and act accordingly.

That is why I create European projects, vote, campaign, volunteer and use all the democratic tools offered by the European Union. Who knows, maybe being elected to the European Parliament is my next step!

I have been an active volunteer since the #thistimeimvoting / #zajednozaeu campaign for previous European elections. Together with my teammates, we organised local activities to raise awareness about the importance of European elections. I received the award for the most active volunteer and co-founded the P4 youth community to engage young people in democratic life.

During the #together.eu campaign, P4 organised workshops, talks and events to promote European values, institutions and processes. Our biggest success was organising a local European Youth Event in Varaždin (Croatia)!

Currently, P4 crew continues supporting and engaging young people each year during the KVART music festival, which they have organised for the last five years, and where they provide #togethereu content and space to reach out to as many new activists and volunteers as possible to raise awareness about the importance of voting at the European elections.
